Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with an active OK or compact license for a Surgical/Transplant unit, requiring at least one year of Med/Surg nursing experience and AHA BLS. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Position is in the Surgical/Transplant unit within a hospital setting - Care provided to post-surgical and transplant patient populations with various acuity levels - Three 12-hour day shifts per week - No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius - Provide comprehensive care to a range of surgical and transplant patients - Responsible for medication administration, IV and blood product monitoring, and documentation - Interact with patients and families to communicate care plans and hospital procedures - Collaborate and delegate tasks to support staff as needed - No reapplication for previous employees until six months after the end of the last contract - Professional attire or scrubs required per hospital policy /n /n Requirements/n - Active OK or compact RN license is required - Minimum of one year recent Med/Surg nursing experience required - Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program required - Current American Heart Association BLS certification required - Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care - Basic computer skills required /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-661770.
