Job Description Job Description Job Title: PRN Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU – LTAC Hospital Location: Oklahoma City, OK Schedule: PRN – Day and Night Shifts (7a–7p / 7p–7a) Agency: Hire Energy Staffing About the Role Our LTAC hospital is seeking experienced ICU PRN Registered Nurses (RNs) to care for critically ill patients with medically complex conditions. This role is best suited for RNs with strong ICU skills and recent LTAC experience who want flexible scheduling while working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive critical care to patients in the ICU. Monitor, assess, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions. Administer IV medications, drips, and advanced therapies. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members. Provide timely interventions in emergency situations using ACLS protocols. Accurately document assessments, treatments, and progress in electronic health records. Requirements Active RN license in Oklahoma. ACLS certification (required). Prior and recent ICU experience in an LTAC setting (required). Proficiency in critical care interventions and monitoring. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Flexible availability for PRN 12-hour day or night shifts. Benefits Flexible PRN scheduling. Responsibilities Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care to Med-Surg patients with acute and chronic conditions. Monitor, assess, and record patient conditions and treatment responses. Administer medications, wound care, and other nursing interventions. Collaborate with physicians, LPNs, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care. Support patient recovery and discharge planning. Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records.
