Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel
nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg -
Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours
per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel
Opportunity: /n RN - FS /n/n Job Details: /n • Provide nursing care
to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple
to complex /n• Must have MS (Medical Surgical) and SD (Step Down)
experience required /n• Travel experience and Level 1 trauma
experience preferred /n• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
required /n• Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients
/n• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and
prescribed medical treatments /n• Assist physicians in examination
of patients and performing minor diagnostic procedures /n• Obtain
and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when
necessary /n• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor
intravenous infusions and blood products /n• Interact with families
and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and at
discharge /n• Make referrals regarding patient care needs to
appropriate personnel /n• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
/n• Required certifications: Current RN License (Oklahoma or
multistate compact eNLC), Current Basic Life Support (AHA) /n•
Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required /n•
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred /n• Strong verbal and
written communication skills required /n• Computer skills and
ability to respond to cultural and language needs of patients /n/n
