ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - FS Job Details: • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex under general supervision • Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Monitor all changes in physician orders on assigned patients • Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary • Administer medications as prescribed • Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products • Interact with patients and families regarding care plans during hospitalization and at discharge • Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel • Delegate tasks to support staff • Medical/Surgical and Step Down experience required • Level 1 trauma experience preferred • ICU experience preferred • Travel experience preferred • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required • Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred • Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required • Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association required • Strong verbal and written communication skills required • Computer skills and ability to respond to cultural and language needs of patients required Facility: This major academic medical center serves as a comprehensive healthcare facility providing advanced medical services and trauma care.
