Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Circulator OR Adult Job Details: • Work 4/10's schedule from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM (day shift) • 6 months level 1 experience required • Call and holiday requirements included • Minimum of one year experience in acute operating room environment required • Current RN License issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required • Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association required • CNOR certification preferred • Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred • Plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for patients during operative procedures • Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care in operating room environment • Individualize patient care according to health status, age level, and specific surgery/procedure • Maintain ongoing evaluation and documentation of all patient care components • Excellent understanding of AORN Standards required • Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary • Computer skills required Facility: This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and advanced surgical procedures.
