in supporting U.S. Veterans as they pursue the benefits they've
earned through service. This is a non-treatment, evaluation-only
position -no prescribing, no ongoing patient panels, and no
follow-up care. Your focus is thorough, thoughtful examinations and
documentation that directly supports Veterans' disability and
separation health claims. As a Nurse Practitioner in this role, you
will: Conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) Disability
Questionnaires (DBQs) for Veterans Perform Separation Health
Assessment (SHA) exams for service members transitioning out of the
military Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform focused
or full physical examinations Review and analyze Veterans' medical
records within a cloud-based EHR Order and interpret labs and
diagnostic studies as needed Provide clear medical opinions based
on exam findings Submit complete, high-quality documentation within
24 hours via a secure VA portal Exam pace: Average exam length:
1.5-3 hours (some complex cases may be longer) Typically 1 Veteran
per day , or 4-6 Veterans depending on DBQs Why This Role Stands
