Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

year of experience in antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum,
and newborn care. License: Current RN License Certifications: -
Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart
Association. - Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support. -
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate. - Neonatal Resuscitation
Program certification. Must-Have: - Level 1 experience in
antepartum or labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care. -
Certifications in Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, NRP, BLS, and
ACLS. Description: Assume responsibility for an assigned group of
patients. Document patient responses to nursing interventions and
prescribed medical treatments. Note all changes in physician orders
for assigned patients. Assist the physician in the examination of
patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and
treatments. Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients.
Observe the physiological manifestations of patients and intervene
when necessary. Administer medication as prescribed. Initiate,
regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products.
Deliver patient care competently. Interact with family and patients
in sharing care plans while in the hospital and at the time of
discharge. Inform patients and families of hospital procedures.
Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate
personnel. Delegate tasks to support staff. Maintain good working
relationships with other employees. Exhibit good verbal and written
communication skills. Possess some computer skills. Knowledge of
professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
is essential. Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate
nursing services and apply nursing techniques is required.
