Cardiovascular Technologist Location: Oklahoma City, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,632 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist Profession: Clinical Technicians Specialty: Electrophysiology Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Required education is an Associate's degree or higher. Certifications: AHA BLS; must meet eligibility requirements for ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) or complete a Paramedic training program within 12 months of hire date. Must-Have: Core knowledge and understanding of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology; cardiovascular and/or radiologic technologies. Description: Under supervision and direction of a mentor or preceptor, this entry-level position works to achieve the initial competencies required for specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services. This role aids medical staff in the diagnosis, care, treatment, and surveillance of conditions, defects, and diseases. Utilizes entry-level knowledge, abilities, skills, and available resources to provide safe, high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care under various conditions. Prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with procedures ordered by physicians. Communicates and collaborates with patients, families, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to achieve desired clinical outcomes and service expectations. Utilizes specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques to perform diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures in accordance with established guidelines. Conducts post-procedure reviews to ensure all required elements are completed and documented accurately. Transfers images and data to archival systems, enters technical data/findings, and prepares studies for reporting by physicians. Performs quality control checks, cleaning, and user maintenance in compliance with regulatory guidelines. Participates in continuing education and professional development to maintain competencies and promote continuous improvements. Performs other duties as assigned.
