Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Oklahoma City, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,322 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 27 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner RRT Profession: Respiratory Care Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 26-week contract Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Two years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting preferred. License: Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Certifications: Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Must-Have: Current Basic Life Support certification. Description: Under general supervision, will provide services for the Respiratory Therapy Department in a timely and efficient manner. Responsible for administering therapeutic treatments as prescribed by attending medical staff. Records treatment information and patient treatment response in medical records. Acts as a resource person to medical staff. Performs invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring of patients. Provides age-appropriate care to patients. Ensures that respiratory equipment is cleaned and maintained. Maintains necessary respiratory therapy records. Performs as part of the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge of procedures and techniques of Respiratory Therapy and the operation and repair of respiratory equipment is essential. Clinical decision-making skills appropriate to patient care as it relates to the pulmonary and cardiac system and to the age of the patient are required. Ability to interpret the appropriate information to identify patient needs is necessary. Ability to work under stress and possess good interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain a good working relationship with coworkers and staff is important. Some computer skills are required. Graduation from an approved Respiratory Care Program is necessary. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification must be obtained within three months of hire. The Registered Respiratory Therapist credential must be received within 12 months of hire.
