in Edmond, Oklahoma, 73034! Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse

experience License: Current RN License issued by the state board of
nursing or a current multistate compact RN License Certifications:
Current Basic Life Support and ACLS (American Heart Association)
Must-Have: - Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited
program - Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices,
techniques, and procedures - Ability to organize, plan, coordinate,
and evaluate nursing services - Ability to maintain good working
relationships with colleagues - Good verbal and written
communication skills - Ability to address the cultural and language
needs of patients and visitors - Some computer skills Description:
Under general supervision, provides nursing care to a variety of
patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex.
Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients. Documents
patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical
treatments and notes all changes in physician orders. Assists the
physician in examining patients and performing minor diagnostic
procedures and treatments. Obtains and monitors physiological data
of patients; observes physiological manifestations and intervenes
when necessary. Administers medication as prescribed; initiates,
regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products.
Delivers patient care competently. Interacts with family and
patients in sharing the care plan while in the hospital and at
discharge. Informs patients and families of hospital procedures.
Makes referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate
personnel. Delegates tasks to support staff. Performs other duties
