Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - FS Job Details: • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex under general supervision • Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary • Assist physicians in examinations and performing minor diagnostic procedures • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products • Interact with families and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and at discharge • Make referrals for patient care needs to appropriate personnel • Delegate tasks to support staff • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required • Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required • Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required • Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association required • Schedule notes indicate SD and MS required • Strong verbal and written communication skills needed • Computer skills required Facility: This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and advanced patient care.
