Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU -

Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights -

Details: • Provide nursing care for patients with health problems
ranging from simple to complex • Assume responsibility for an
assigned group of patients • Document patient responses to nursing
interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Assist physicians
in examination of patients and minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain
and monitor physiological data, observe patient manifestations and
intervene when necessary • Administer medications as prescribed •
Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood
products • Interact with families and patients to share care plans
during hospitalization and at discharge • Make referrals regarding
patient care needs to appropriate personnel • Delegate tasks to
support staff • Two (2) years of nursing experience required •
Inpatient experience required • NOT open to ER candidates •
Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required •
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred • Current RN License
issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate
compact RN License (eNLC) • Current Basic Life Support (American
Heart Association) and ACLS certification required • Knowledge of
professional nursing theory, practices, techniques and procedures •
Strong organizational, planning, coordination and evaluation skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills • Computer skills
