Information: Rotating - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13
Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN
Cardiovascular Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: FS Duration:
13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: One year of
nursing experience License: Current RN License issued by the
appropriate state authority or a current multistate compact RN
License. Certifications: Current Basic Life Support and ACLS
certifications issued by the American Heart Association. Must-Have:
Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Description: Under general supervision, provides nursing care to a
variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to
complex. Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients.
Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed
medical treatments. Notes all changes in physician orders for
assigned patients. Assists physician in the examination of patients
and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatment.
Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients, observes
physiological manifestations, and intervenes when necessary.
Administers medication as prescribed. Initiates, regulates, and
monitors intravenous infusions and blood products. Delivers patient
care competently. Interacts with family and patient, sharing care
plans during hospitalization and at the time of discharge. Informs
patient and family of hospital procedures. Makes referrals
regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel. Delegates
tasks to support staff. Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge of professional nursing theories, practices, techniques,
and procedures is required. Ability to organize, plan, coordinate,
and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques. Ability
to maintain good working relationships with other employees. Good
verbal and written communication skills are essential. Ability to
respond effectively to the cultural and language needs of patients
and visitors. Some computer skills are necessary.
