(RRT) - Night Shifts in Logan County The Registered Respiratory
Therapist (RRT) delivers essential respiratory care to patients
based on physician directives and collaborates with medical
personnel to assess the effectiveness of therapies. This role
necessitates specific licensure and credentials in respiratory care
and involves the operation of specialized respiratory equipment.
The position focuses on teamwork within a healthcare setting and is
primarily oriented towards acute and critical care, often during

role entails providing direct patient care across all facets of
respiratory therapy, adhering to physician instructions. You will
also consult with physicians regarding the efficacy of treatments
and serve as a knowledgeable resource for both physicians and
nursing staff concerning respiratory care. Additional
responsibilities will be assigned as needed. Position Details:
Qualifications Education: Completion of a CoArc accredited
Respiratory Care program. Licensure: Must fulfill state licensure
criteria and possess a valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
license. Experience: No prior experience required. Certifications:
Must hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For those
working in the Emergency Room, PALS certification is mandatory.
Physical Demands: Capable of pushing, pulling, and gripping up to
50 lbs, pinching up to 10 lbs, and performing minimal kneeling,
crouching, and crawling. Equipment Used: Proficient in all relevant
respiratory care devices. Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) certification. Preferred Licensure: Additional
relevant licenses are advantageous. Preferred Experience:
