Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Cardiovascular Technologist Level I for a travel job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiovascular Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Cardiovascular Technologist - Cardiovascular Technologist I /n/n Job Details: /n • Work under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor in entry-level position /n• Provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patient populations /n• Work in variety of care settings including acute inpatient facilities, outpatient physician practices, diagnostic/urgent care centers and remote statewide outreach clinics /n• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered procedures /n• Utilize highly specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques for diagnostic, interventional and surgical procedures /n• Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure completion, documentation and technical quality standards /n• Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting /n• Perform operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, high-level disinfecting and user maintenance /n• Participate in continuing education, professional development and research activities /n• Associate's degree or higher required /n• Must be graduate of CAAHEP accredited cardiovascular program, JRCERT accredited radiologic technology program, or completed Paramedic training program /n• AHA BLS certification required /n• Must meet ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) eligibility requirements within 12 months of hire OR complete Paramedic training program within 12 months of hire /n• Ability to work as part of team, multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations /n• Must demonstrate sensitivity to patients' physical and psychological needs /n/n Facility: /n This major academic medical center serves as a comprehensive healthcare facility providing advanced cardiovascular and radiologic technology services.
