Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - ED /n/n Job Details: /n • Work three 12-hour shifts per week with weekend requirements /n• Position focused on ED holds /n• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex /n• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients /n• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments /n• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures /n• Obtain and monitor physiological data, observe patient manifestations, and intervene when necessary /n• Administer medications as prescribed and manage IV infusions and blood products /n• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge instructions /n• Make referrals for patient care needs to appropriate personnel /n• Delegate tasks to support staff /n• One year of nursing experience required /n• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required /n• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred /n• Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required /n• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association required /n• ACLS certification from American Heart Association required /n• Strong verbal and written communication skills needed /n• Computer skills required /n/n Facility: /n This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and advanced patient care.
