ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Trauma ICU Job Details: • Level one ICU Trauma experience required - must have directly worked in ICU at a level 1 facility for 1 years • One year of travel nursing experience required • Cardiac experience required, or combination of cardiac and neuro experience • TNCC and TCRN certifications preferred • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex • Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary • Administer medications as prescribed and manage intravenous infusions and blood products • Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning • Required certifications: Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) • Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred • Must demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills and computer proficiency Facility: This major academic medical center serves as a premier healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services including advanced trauma care.
