Position Overview: Location: Our facility in Guthrie, Oklahoma
Department: Medical/Surgical Employment Status: Full-Time, 36 hours
weekly Shift: Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM Schedule: Includes
rotating weekends and holidays Our organization operates a 25-bed
Critical Access Hospital dedicated to providing care for
Observation, Inpatient, and Swing patients. The nurse-to-patient
ratio in our unit is 5:1, allowing our nursing staff to collaborate
closely with the Therapy department to deliver coordinated and
exceptional care, ensuring patients can return to their
pre-hospitalization lifestyles. Qualifications: Education: Must be
a graduate of an accredited professional nursing program.
Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a valid RN
license in the state of employment or compact licensure, adhering
to all state board of nursing regulations. Physical Requirements:
The role necessitates the ability to regularly push, pull, or lift
up to 50 pounds. Prolonged standing and walking are required during
each shift, along with the capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel,
twist, and squat as needed. Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac
Life Support) BLS (Basic Life Support) or completion of the course
within 30 days of hire Additional unit-specific certifications as
required, to be obtained within the designated timeframe. Why
