Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City,

Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days -
Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ED Job Details: • Work 3
twelve-hour shifts with weekend requirements • Provide nursing care
to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex •
Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients • Document
patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical
treatments • Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor
diagnostic procedures • Obtain and monitor physiological data,
observe patient manifestations and intervene when necessary •
Administer medications as prescribed • Initiate, regulate and
monitor intravenous infusions and blood products • Interact with
families and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning •
Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate
personnel • Delegate tasks to support staff • One year of nursing
experience required • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an
accredited program required • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
preferred • Required certifications: Current Oklahoma RN License or
multistate compact RN License (eNLC), Current Basic Life Support
(AHA), ACLS (American Heart Association) • Strong verbal and
written communication skills required • Ability to respond
effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
