Job Description:
Job Description Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and
detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to support surgical teams in
delivering safe, high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate
will demonstrate strong clinical knowledge, technical proficiency
across surgical specialties, and the ability to collaborate
effectively in a fast-paced operating room environment. Experience:
At least 1 year of relevant surgical technician experience
Licensure / Certifications: Service line competency achievement
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the
American Heart Association (required upon hire) Knowledge, Skills,
and Abilities: Knowledge of medical asepsis as applied to the
operating room Proficiency with surgical instruments and procedures
across multiple specialties Expertise in OR setup , sterile field
maintenance, and instrument handling Proper handling of tissue
specimens, cultures, and smears Understanding of inventory
management and supply control Ability to scrub for all specialty
areas Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain
effective working relationships Ability to follow technical written
and verbal instructions Demonstrated competency in providing
age-appropriate care for patients across the lifespan, including
neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
Knowledge of growth and development principles and ability to
assess and interpret patient-specific needs Sufficient computer
skills to manage emails and edit preference cards Education:
Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technician program Note:
