In this role, the Clinical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that units are adequately staffed to deliver optimal patient care. They actively engage in managing patient flow and bed utilization in partnership with the Staffing Office. The Clinical Supervisor holds both direct and indirect care providers accountable for their professional duties and adherence to policies and regulatory standards. They carry out their responsibilities in alignment with the organization's Mission, Values, and Service Standards, and participate in the evaluation process alongside the Clinical Manager as needed. Our unit consists of 25 swing-bed/med-surg beds dedicated to helping patients regain their independence in preparation for returning home after hospitalization. We are a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering personalized healthcare services to the rural community of Kingfisher, Oklahoma. Position Overview: Education: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required, or the candidate must obtain a BSN within three (3) years of accepting the position. Licensure: A current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the relevant State Board of Nursing is mandatory. Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting is required. Preferred Experience: Experience in the Emergency Room (ER) is highly desirable. Certification/Registration: Candidates must possess an American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete the necessary course during the probationary period. Certifications in TNCC, ACLS, and ENPC or PALS are also required. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as proficiency in electronic communication. Clinical competence in patient care delivery is essential, along with the ability to assess data and assist staff in providing the appropriate level of care.
