Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:
Interventional Radiology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP -
Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days -
Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - VIR Job Details: • Work
4x10 hour shifts with call required during week and weekends •
Provide nursing care for patients under mild sedation and critical
care patients • Participate in cases including ultrasound, CT and
interventional radiology procedures • Use EPIC charting system for
documentation • Experience/skills in VIR area essential for
successful placement • Assume responsibility for assigned group of
patients • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and
prescribed medical treatments • Assist physicians in examination of
patients and performing minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain and
monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed • Initiate, regulate and
monitor intravenous infusions and blood products • Interact with
family and patients regarding care plans • Oversee treatment
provided by technicians or other service providers • Required:
Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program • Required:
Current RN License issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or
current multistate compact RN License • Required: Current Basic
Life Support issued by American Heart Association • Required: ACLS
certification within 6 months of hire • Preferred: Bachelor of
