Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/12/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - CVICU Job Details: • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex • Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients • Administer medications as prescribed • Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products • Interact with families and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and at discharge • Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel • Delegate tasks to support staff • Required: 1 year of nursing experience • Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program • Required: Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) • Required certifications: Current Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) and ACLS (American Heart Association) • Must demonstrate knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques and procedures • Strong verbal and written communication skills required • Computer skills required Facility: This academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and advanced cardiovascular care.
