Neurology for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job
Description & Requirements - Specialty: Neurology - Discipline: RN
- Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week -
Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN -
Neuro PCU Job Details: • Provide nursing care to patients with
health problems ranging from simple to complex • Work on stroke and
neuro floor with ortho and spine patients • Willing and able to
float within department as needed • Work every other weekend and
fair share of holidays • Assume responsibility for assigned group
of patients • Document patient responses to nursing interventions
and prescribed medical treatments • Assist physicians in
examination of patients and minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain
and monitor physiological data of patients • Administer medications
as prescribed • Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous
infusions and blood products • Interact with family and patients
regarding care plans and discharge information • Make referrals
regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel • Delegate
tasks to support staff • Required certifications: Current Oklahoma
RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC), ACLS, BLS,
NIHSS • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required • Associate's
Degree in Nursing from accredited program required • Bachelor of
Science in Nursing preferred Facility: This major academic medical
