Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/05/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - MICU Job Details: • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex in a hospital setting • Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients under general supervision • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary • Administer medications as prescribed and manage IV infusions and blood products • Interact with patients and families regarding care plans and hospital procedures • Make referrals for patient care needs and delegate tasks to support staff • 1 year of nursing experience required • Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred • Current RN License issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required • Current Basic Life Support (AHA) and ACLS (American Heart Association) certifications required • Strong verbal and written communication skills required • Computer skills and ability to respond to cultural and language needs of patients required Facility: This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and advanced patient care.
