Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/12/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - FS Job Details: • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex • Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients • Administer medications as prescribed • Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products • Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning • Make referrals for patient care needs to appropriate personnel • Delegate tasks to support staff • 1 year of nursing experience required • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred • Current RN License issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required • Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association required • Strong verbal and written communication skills required • Computer skills necessary Facility: This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and advanced patient care.
