Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Pediatrics CVICU /n/n Job Details: /n • Provide nursing care to pediatric patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit /n• Work under general supervision assuming responsibility for an assigned group of patients /n• One year of nursing experience required /n• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments /n• Assist physicians in examination of patients and performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatment /n• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients, observe physiological manifestations and intervene when necessary /n• Administer medications as prescribed, initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products /n• Interact with families and patients in sharing care plans during hospitalization and at discharge /n• Inform patients and families of hospital procedures and make referrals for patient care needs /n• Delegate tasks to support staff and maintain good working relationships with other employees /n• Required certifications: Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC), Current Basic Life Support (AHA), PALS (American Heart Association) /n• Required education: Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program /n• Must demonstrate knowledge of professional nursing theories, practices, techniques, and procedures /n• Strong verbal and written communication skills required /n• Must respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors /n• Some computer skills required /n/n Facility: /n This children's hospital is a specialized healthcare facility dedicated to providing comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients.
