Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/19/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Provide nursing care to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex /n• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients /n• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments /n• Assist physicians in examinations and minor diagnostic procedures /n• Monitor physiological data and observe patient manifestations /n• Administer medications as prescribed /n• Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products /n• Interact with patients and families regarding care plans and discharge planning /n• Make appropriate referrals for patient care needs /n• Delegate tasks to support staff /n• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required /n• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required /n• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred /n• Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required /n• Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association required /n• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations /n• Computer skills required /n/n Facility: /n This major academic medical center serves as a premier healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and advanced treatments.
