Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pediatrics CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU night shift position requiring pediatric CVICU experience and an active OK or compact RN license. Responsibilities - Work in a Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) within a hospital setting - Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week - Patient population includes pediatric cardiac critical care cases - Floating required to PICU, NICU, and CVSD as needed - Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and monitoring of critically ill pediatric cardiac patients - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes - Interact with patients and families to communicate care plans and hospital procedures - Document patient responses to nursing interventions and changes in condition - Expectation to cover responsibilities in related critical care units as needed - Extension beyond 26 weeks requires a 6-month separation before rehire eligibility Requirements - Active RN license in Oklahoma or a compact state (eNLC) - Minimum of one year of pediatric CVICU experience required - Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from the American Heart Association - Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625590.
