Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Position: RN – Pediatric ICU (PICU) Location: Oklahoma City, OK Shift: 12-Hour Night Shifts, 3x12s per week Duration: 13 weeks Responsibilities: - Provide direct nursing care for pediatric patients with complex and critical health conditions. - Monitor and assess patients’ physiological status and respond promptly to changes. - Administer medications, intravenous infusions, and blood products as prescribed. - Assist physicians during examinations and procedures. - Document patient care, treatments, and responses accurately and timely. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and implement individualized care plans. - Educate patients and families regarding hospital procedures, treatment plans, and discharge instructions. - Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control policies. - Delegate appropriate tasks to support staff and ensure continuity of care. Requirements: - Minimum 1 year of PICU nursing experience required. - Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred. - Active RN License in the state of Oklahoma or Compact RN License (eNLC). - BLS and PALS (AHA) certifications required. - Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. - Ability to handle high-acuity cases in a fast-paced environment.
