Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVPICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU night shift position requiring a compact or OK RN license with PALS certification. Responsibilities - Work in the Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (Cardio PICU) of a hospital - Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week - Cares for pediatric patients with cardiovascular conditions, from simple to complex cases - Assignment length is 13 weeks - Patient care includes monitoring physiologic data and assisting with minor diagnostic procedures - No local candidates permitted; must live more than 50 miles from the facility - Responsibilities include administering medication, monitoring infusions, documenting patient responses, and coordinating care with families - Delegates tasks to support staff and interacts efficiently with team members - Requires ability to address cultural and language needs of patients - Holiday coverage may be required per hospital policy - Candidates must follow hospital policies regarding contract extensions and reapplication Requirements - Active RN license issued by Oklahoma or a multistate compact license (eNLC) required - Current AHA-issued Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required - Minimum of one year RN experience required - Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN or higher preferred - Must have basic computer skills Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628786.
