Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for an adult-focused overnight role, requiring Philips scanner proficiency and Epic EMR experience. Responsibilities - Work in a community hospital MRI unit with adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, and ER/trauma cases - Utilize Philips MRI equipment and PACS system - Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour overnights, Friday to Sunday, 18:00 to 6:30 - May work independently or with a new tech in training - Epic charting experience is required - First-time travelers are accepted - Must be able to work independently or train alongside a new technologist - Black scrubs required - Travelers must be clean shaven for FIT testing and must complete an OSHA Respirator Clearance prior to start - Pre-start modules must be completed, approximately 1 hour for allied staff - Travelers may not work more than 1 year consecutively at the facility and must take a 6 month break before returning Requirements - Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist - Current BLS certification required - ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification accepted - Experience with Philips scanners is required - Ability to start peripheral IVs and administer contrast media - Experience in adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, and ER/trauma settings - Must provide 2 professional supervisor references from the past 2 years - Must live more than 70 miles from the facility to be considered - License required if applicable Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627828.
