Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric RN Float Pool nurse with at least one year of experience, an OK or compact RN license, and current AHA BLS and PALS certifications. Responsibilities - Position is within the hospital Float Pool covering pediatric medicine units - Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, working 3 days per week - Holiday and weekend shifts are required - Assignment is for a 13-week contract - Responsible for the care of pediatric patients with varied medical needs in a hospital setting - Administers medications, monitors IVs and blood products, documents responses, and provides patient and family education - May assist with minor diagnostic procedures and perform nursing interventions based on patient assessment - Delegates tasks to support staff and works collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams - Requires strong communication skills and ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs - No local candidates accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius Requirements - Active Oklahoma or multistate compact RN license required - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from AHA required - Minimum one year of pediatric RN experience required - Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program is required - Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621253.
