Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric
Cardiovascular ICU position requiring an active OK or compact RN
license and strong pediatric critical care skills. Responsibilities
- Work in the Cardiac Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
(CVICU-Pediatrics) within a hospital environment - Cares for
cardiovascular pediatric patients with conditions ranging from
simple to complex - 12-hour day shifts, three days per week - No
local candidates will be considered due to a 50-mile radius
requirement - Provides direct patient care to a variety of
pediatric cardiac ICU patients, including administering medications
and monitoring physiologic data - Collaborates with physicians in
patient examinations and minor procedures - Serves as a liaison
between patient families and the care team regarding the care plan
and discharge - Delegates appropriate tasks to support staff and
documents nursing interventions and patient responses - Adheres to
specific dress code or scrub requirements as directed by the
facility - Returning employees may only extend one time for a total
of 26 weeks and must complete a 6-month separation before being
eligible for rehire Requirements - Active RN license issued by the
Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact
(eNLC) RN license - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric
Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from the American Heart
Association - Minimum of one year of recent RN experience -
Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program - Strong
knowledge of professional nursing theories, practices, and
