Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist skilled with Philips scanners and adult acute care for overnight shifts. Responsibilities - Position is in a community hospital setting - Work in the MRI department with a focus on adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, and ER/Trauma patients - Primary equipment used is Philips MRI scanners and PACS - Must be able to work independently or with a tech in training - EMR system is Epic and experience with it is required - Schedule is 4x10 hour overnight shifts from Thursday to Sunday, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM - First time travelers are accepted - Must be able to work alone or with a new tech in training - Required to wear black scrubs - Travelers must be clean shaven for FIT testing - OSHA respirator clearance required prior to start - Allied modules to be completed pre-start - Travelers may not return for another assignment until a 6 month break has been taken after one year as a traveler - Two recent professional supervisor references needed for consideration Requirements - Minimum 1 year of recent MRI tech experience - Proficiency with Philips MRI scanners - Experience with PACS systems and starting peripheral IVs - Ability to administer MRI contrast media - Current BLS certification required - Credentialing accepted: ARRT MR or ARMRIT - Epic EMR experience required - Must live more than 70 miles from the facility to be considered - License required if applicable Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627829.
