*Job Title: Travel RN Ambulatory Care ** Location: Oklahoma City, OK* Duration: 13 weeks (with possibilities of extension)* Shift: M-F 8:00AM-4:30P* Guaranteed Hours: 40* Overtime Starts after: 40 hours*Requirements:*-Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).-Required Skills & Experience:-Three plus (3)+ years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse.-Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association.-This role is M-F 8a-430p. We work very closely with our cardiologists and patients. Looking for someone with great communication skills. Experience in cardiology or case management would be a bonus.*Pay Details:*For Travelers/Stipend:Blended Hourly Pay Rate (W2): $30.00Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2520.00ORFor Traveller 1099 Candidates:Blended Hourly Pay Rate (1099): 66.00Weekly 1099 Traveller Pay Rate: $2640.00*Job Responsibilities:*-Aligns behaviors with OU Health values and maintains nursing professional practice standards.-Assumes responsibility for an assigned patient, group of patients, or patients to be seen by service/clinic.-Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments, noting all changes in physician order on assigned patients.-Assists physician in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatment. Progressing in knowledge, skills and abilities for more complex procedures and treatment modalities.-Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients, observes the physiological manifestations of patients, and intervenes when necessary.-Administers medication as prescribed.-Initiates, regulates and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products.-Delivers patient care competently; seeks coaching and mentoring from others as needed.-Resolves patient complaints in a timely manner in accordance with policy and in collaboration with support staff.
