Nurse Practitioner - 11877*Ada, OK - Health - Full Time**9:00AM-6:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr*_Posted 4 days ago - - Apply before December 27, 2024_*Apply**Save*DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Full Time Nurse Practitioner to join our Tribal and Commercial Health Clinic Operations team located at the Sovereign Family Practice Clinic - Ada working 9:00AM-6:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.*Summary:*Provide a full range of care, evaluate and treat acute and minor illnesses or injuries as well as a variety of primary care of episodic complaints. Treat all patients with care and concern to ensure good customer service and a good bedside manner.*Responsibilities:** Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types* Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner* Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made* Greets and engages with a smile* Determines and meets needs* Seeks positive experience and outcomes* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types* Shares responsibilities for maintaining adequate supplies and equipment* Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment* Observes and addresses potential environmental hazards and risks* Maintains and promotes professionalism* Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics* Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards* May provide break coverage for others as assigned* May augment staff in other areas as needed based on staffing and needs ratio in regularly assigned unit* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.* Participates in performance improvement activities to measure, assess and improve the quality of assigned work area* Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information in accordance with HIPAA regulations* Evaluate and treat all patients for acute minor illnesses or injuries and provide care for primary care of episodic complaints* Provide preventative diagnostic and therapeutic care and services for patients of all ages* Performs all other duties as assigned*Competencies:*Essential:* Follow instructions, both written and oral* Adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements* Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability* Read, understand and apply regulations and policies* Learn and apply laws which directly confer rights* Communicates verbally with team, departments, guests and management* Communicates clinical information to patient in emergent or urgent settings* Communicates clinical information to patient in non-emergent setting* Writes effective communications with team, departments, guests and management* Maintains clear and complete employee health records*Skills:*Essential:* Basic Computer skills* Medication administration*Experience:*Nonessential:* 1 year directly related experience*Education:*Essential:* Masters of Nursing*Credentials:*Essential:* Pass general background check* Cert Nurse Practitioner* Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration Number* Standard Driver's License*Working Conditions:*Essential:* Hospital or Clinic* Potential exposure to biohazards* Potential exposure to contagious diseases* Communications written, verbal* May be required to assist individuals who are emotionally disturbed* Interacts with clinical, support, technical, professional or management staff in a variety of settings and situations* Pass pre-employment drug test* Frequently bend, kneel, stoop, push, reach* Sometimes lift and or carry up to 25 lbs* Standing up to 100% of shift* Walking up to 100% of shift* May work holidays* May work weekend shift#INDWork Location: In personby Jobble
