TravelNurseSource is working with Prokatchers LLC to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73104 Pay Information $2,100 to $2,300 per week About The Position Job Description: Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position. Consults on special patient cases where a need for PICC (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter) Line placement and instruction has been identified. Establishes a treatment plan for patients and their families to follow. Serves as a resource person for medical and hospital staff regarding PICC placement and education. -Consults with healthcare team on complication management. Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients. Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments; notes all changes in physician order on assigned patients. Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients. Observes the physiological manifestations of patients and intervenes when necessary. Interacts with family and patient regarding care plan while in the hospital and at time of discharge. Informs patient and family of hospital procedures. Makes referral regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel. 25558330EXPPLAT Job Requirements Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. 01-year of experience. Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC). Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association.
