Description

Product Manager w/ Heavy Product Design Background Flogistix, a technological and forward-thinking company in the energy realm, is seeking a Product Manager with a heavy background in Product Design and UI/UX design to join its Product Development department. As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of Flogistix's products and ensuring they meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support to define product requirements and prioritize features based on market research and customer feedback.

What youll do:

Strike the perfect balance between creative, strategic and tactical requirements.

Create and maintain documentation for UX/UI guidelines.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and create a roadmap for product development.

Analyze user needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build vs. buy perspective.

Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation.

Define UX performance metrics (error rate, abandon rate, average number of clicks, perceived easiness, etc.) for your projects to track their success.

Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to inform product decisions.

Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch.

Create user personas, user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design ideas and product concepts.

Work with the Engineering team to ensure the product is built to spec and meets design requirements.

Analyze market data to develop sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications plans.

Conduct user testing to validate design decisions and ensure product usability.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to product design and UI/UX.

Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Flogistix and its features across primary market segments.

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Product Design, UI/UX design, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in product, with a focus on product design and UI/UX design.

Experience working in the energy industry is a plus.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Exceptional writing and editing skills combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills.

Understanding and Exposure to Software Development and Artificial Intelligence.

Demonstrated experience leading product design and development projects from ideation to launch.

Ability to create user personas, user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes using design tools.

Familiarity with agile development methodologies and product management tools

Preferred Skills:

1+ years of experience as a Product Designer.

2+ years of design and prototyping experience in Figma.

Ability to translate business requirements to actionable tasks.

Experience with Atlassian (Jira).

Ability to leverage analytics to track product performance and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
