Director, School Engagement on our Development Strategies team.
This can be a home-office position, or the candidate may office in
one of the local market offices. This position may require travel
including occasional overnights to meetings, conferences, etc.In
this position, you will be responsible for helping develop programs
and drive revenue in school districts, secondary schools, colleges
and with streaming / social media platforms. The primary focus will
be to grow the District Heart Challenge program. This is an
employee wellness program offered by the American Heart Association
to School District staff. This position will help drive revenue and
peer-to-peer fundraising while also providing wellness
opportunities. This position will also manage and help develop and
implement new strategies to drive revenue and engagement to reach
our $3M annual goal.This is a fully remote position.We offer a base
salary with the potential to earn an incentive up to 25% of your
base pay. The potential incentive is based on achieving certain
team revenue targets.The Association offers many resources to help

heart.org.ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible
to:Share in the development of fundraising programs including
innovation and critical thinking to overcome obstacles and
anticipate program gaps.Create collateral materials to support the
development and growth of these programs.Help build the pipeline to
achieve $3M annual goal.Work with existing school districts who
partner with the American Heart Association through District Heart
Challenge employee wellness program.Recruit new school districts to
participate in District Heart Challenge.Increase engagement in
District Heart Challenge and increase peer-to-peer
fundraising.Proficient in Microsoft Suite of products including
Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.Familiar with
gaming/streaming platforms including TwitchTV, TikTok, Instagram,
YouTube, etc. preferredMust be comfortable making phone calls,
reaching out via email, etc.Ensure adherence to all national and
regional Youth Market policies, guidelines and
procedures.Collaborate with regional counterparts in other areas of
the organization.Perform other duties as assigned.Want to move your

requirements:Qualifications2 years of experience in sales or
fundraising in a similar capacity.Understanding of school district
structure.Experience in peer-to-peer fundraising.Demonstrated
community organization skills with the ability to recruit, train
and manage volunteers effectively.Excellent written communications
skills, particularly consumer-oriented writingProject management -
demonstrated track record of meeting deadlinesExcellent design and
creative communication development skillsDemonstrated oral and
written communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills and the
willingness to work with all social strata, occupations, and
diverse backgrounds.Presentation skills for small and large
groups.Ability to work as part of an integrated team.Willingness
and ability to travel within the region and to National Center as
needed.Ability to lift at least 20 lbs. from the ground to waist
level.Expected pay range will be $55,350 to $85,580. This position
is incentive eligible based on achieving certain targets. Pay is
commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay
range may apply. American Heart Association reserves the right to
pay more or less than the posted range.The American Heart
