Management Paycom is seeking a detail-oriented, thoughtful, and
eager Product Intern to help support the vision and direction of
assigned product(s). As a Product Intern, you will learn about
development lifecycles and how to create functional specifications
that support the product roadmap and guiding the features from
concept to market while learning from senior members of our product
team. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn about the development team and stakeholders throughout
the development life cycle
- Research, analyze, and assist with defining the market, the
users, and the roadmap for the product
- Define customer needs and the associated features and solutions
to meet those needs
- Create user stories and requirements
- Collaborate with product, development, quality assurance, and
user experience
- Share market research and competitive analysis with the
team
- Participate in team brainstorming sessions and provide
thoughtful feedback on projects others are working on
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Document and present your own work to internal teams and
stakeholders Education/Certification:
- High School or GED
- Pursuing a degree preferably in MIS or in a field related to
Product Management Experience:
- Demonstrates proficiency with computers
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS Experience:
- 2 or more years of college completed Skills/Abilities:
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-pace environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and also to work within a
team
- Ability to be flexible and manage change
- Ability to problem solve and provide a fresh perspective using
