Job Description:
SUMMARYManages the clinical activities of substance use
disorders. Under general supervision, directs and manages the
provision of all substance use disorders working with Chief
Operating Officer and supervisor to assure financial viability and
contract compliance of assigned programs. Maintains knowledge and
familiarity of the goals and objectives of the Chief Operating
Officer (COO) and supervisor for the agency. Provides direct care
to consumers as administrative duties allow. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains knowledge of agency goals and objectives for the
agency. Works concurrently toward these goals and objectives with
Supervisor by attending key meetings, preparing reports,
etc...
- Works as a team member with other programs; communicating with
other program leaders and staff in order to provide quality
services to consumers
- Help increase utilization and maintenance of SUD competency of
each out-patient office in collaboration with the local RPD
- Assist in staffing for appropriate SUD services through on-site
treatment teams to increase the quality of SUD OP services
- Maintains core competencies in relation to working with
Substance Use Disorder (SUD)/co-occurring disorders through
continuing education and implementing skills into all aspects of
treatment
- Maintains compliance with Medicaid, Oklahoma Department of
Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS), Commission on
Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and any other
funding/contract source
- Supervises students and other clinical and support staff when
required. May provide specialized training when required
- Advises direction of grant search for Red Rock based on service
gaps, community needs potential for success, and "fit" with Red
Rock goals and objectives
- Attends staff meetings, workshops, and seminars to learn Agency
policy, rules, regulations, and procedures; participates in ongoing
in-service training as well as pertinent external training
- Supports and assists with the facilitation of Care Plans for
consumers within the Red Rock Health Team
- Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in social science field and appropriate
licensure
- Two years administrative experience in a mental health
setting
- Must complete all in-service and external training
requirements
- Commitment to the mission of Red Rock BHS
- Five years administrative experience preferred
- Experience in working with community social service and health
agencies preferred
- High quality of written and verbal communication preferred
- High quality of educational experience preferred
- High quality of previous work experiences preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in or knowledge of working with low-income and
minority consumers within a community setting preferredBenefits
