This position leads the development, implementation and measurement of Paycoms diversity, inclusion and belonging strategy. This position works closely with stakeholders throughout HR and the business providing thought leadership and advisement, overseeing related internal and external engagement and building programs that promote a working environment where all employees can learn, grow and perform at their best.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Leads the development and implementation of Paycoms diversity, inclusion and belonging strategy, anticipating complexity, challenges and opportunities while influencing and ensuring alignment with Paycoms business strategy
* Advocates to senior leaders and executives for implementation of measures and practices related to diversity and inclusion that increase employee morale, motivation and satisfaction.
* Communicates the diversity, inclusion and belonging strategy and its relationship to Paycom's purpose and values
* Leads the implementation of related learning journeys and training sessions for leaders and employees to support Paycom's inclusive culture
* Facilitates training sessions and listening and engagement sessions with employees at all levels of the organizationl
* Identifies and manages internal and external stakeholders, creating engagement plans that effectively address business needs
* Oversees various workgroups that support Paycom's D&I strategy which may include a steering committee, advisory council and employee resource groups
* Manages relationships with business leaders and employees, building high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust
* Mobilizes appropriate internal and/or external resources to support delivering the program strategy and plans
* Oversees the development of program-related policies & procedures, monitoring their implementation and measuring impact
* Provides guidance on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving complex or challenging inquiries and issues and enabling others to take appropriate actions where needed
* Leads the detailed design and management of the delivery of projects related to diversity, inclusion and belonging, ensuring integration with other business-related projects and initiatives.
* Works within Paycom's change management framework to drive adoption of changes and to embed desired culture and behaviors
* Establishes program success measures, compiles and reports on diversity statistics, monitors program progress and adjusts when needed to drive positive business outcomes
* Acts as subject matter expert in diversity and inclusion for the business, internally and when representing the business externally

Education/Certification:

* Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Human Resources/Organizational Development/Organizational Behavior/Training or a related field

Experience:

* 2+ years of experience in diversity, HR, professional development, organizational development and/or leadership development with specific experience working on diversity, inclusion and belonging initiatives
* 5+ years of progressive work experience in roles requiring program or project management skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

* Possession of any of the following certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SHRM Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty credential, HCI Strategic Diversity, Equity & Inclusion certification

Experience:

* Specialized knowledge and experience in a diversity, inclusion and belonging leadership capacity, advanced, evidence-based knowledge of diversity, inclusion best practices, experience working across both corporate and field environments
* Program management and development principles specific to organizational effectiveness or culture shaping
* Previous training facilitation and presentation experience

Skills/Abilities:

* Strategic planning
* Ability to manage large projects with limited oversight
* Demonstrates advanced knowledge of diversity and inclusion practices, employee engagement, and training delivery
* Proven success in influencing, developing and motivating others, including high level leaders in the organization
* Ability to prioritize and direct the work of experienced professionals
* Strong ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
* Proficiency in creating PowerPoint, using audio/video to create presentations
* Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and Outlook
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proven success with utilizing feedback and direction to modify goals and projects
