Job Summary: The Aptim Environmental & Infrastructure, LLC (APTIM) team is expanding into Oklahoma City. Our team is providing a variety of environmental services to existing clients in the area inclusive of: ? Environmental assessment ? Remediation ? Due diligence ? ACM/LBP surveys ? Immediate response ? Tank removals and replacements ? Waste disposal ? OCC reimbursement APTIM is seeking an ambitious Project Manager/ Scientist who will embrace the technical and operational challenges and demands to provide these services to new and existing clients in Oklahoma. The ideal candidate will independently perform a variety of scientific work in the planning, data gathering, field work and reporting stages for consulting, investigation, assessment, remediation, and construction projects. Collects, documents, and compiles technical data. Primary author of plans, reports, and proposals. Effectively represents the services and work area with APTIM's national teams, client reporting and communications, while meeting regulatory agency demands. Licensure by Oklahoma Corporation Commission, Petroleum Storage Tank Division as an Environmental Consultant is required. Job Requirements: Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: ? --Plans, organizes, coordinates, and controls the project in accordance with APTIM's established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements ? --May manage several projects simultaneously ? --Provides leadership, direction and coordination for all project team members ? --Establishes and monitors project safety and quality programs ? --Directs preparation of project plans and manages project scope, budget and schedule in accordance with the contract and the project's safety, quality, technical and financial goals ? --Ensures that the project meets or exceeds financial and cash management goals ? --Ensures that reimbursement packages are submitted for those that qualify for the OCC Reimbursement Fund. ? --Ensures that potential project scope, schedule or budget changes are immediately identified and addressed ? --Supervises daily activities of project personnel including technical and administrative support, and ensures that deliverables are produced on schedule and within budget ? --Develops project review materials and financial forecasting, working with Project Controls ? --Functions as seller-doer, developing client contacts and relationships, preparing proposals, coordinating contract negotiations ? --Represents the project and the company to clients and maintains client relationships ? --Organizes work to meet deadlines set by others ? --Builds project team effectiveness and collaboration ? --Ensures conformance to applicable technical standards as well as company policies and procedures. ? --Applies expertise to the most complex problems; coordinates work outside own area of expertise ? --Manages resource requirements and business needs for projects ? --Anticipates problems; develops innovative solutions and ensures solutions are consistent with organizational objectives ? --Develops and manages plans to achieve objectives; participates in the development of business strategy ? --Collection and interpretation/evaluation of scientific data ? --Development of plans, specifications, analyses, evaluations, maps, position papers, procedures and reports. ? --Communication of technical concepts, evaluation results, plans, reports, etc. via oral presentations Basic Qualifications: ? --Must have a minimum of 5+ years of project management experience and 8+ years in technical project execution ? --Typically manages a series of concurrent projects with scope values from $5 to $300K ? --Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Sciences or Engineering ? --Licensed by Oklahoma Corporation Commission, Petroleum Storage Tank Division as an Environmental Consultant ? --Has developed depth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines ? --Anticipates customer needs to influence the development of innovative solutions ? --Anticipates internal/external business and regulatory issues; recommends process/product improvements ? --Be able to work independently with minimal supervision and with our multidisciplinary team of professionals and staff ? --Be able to legally work in the United States for an indefinite period ? --Clean driving record. ? --Demonstrated strength in written and verbal communication skills suitable to a consulting environment. ? --Experience with the development of field data collection plans, and data analysis
