Boeing Defense/Space/Security (BDS) is seeking an Mid- Level Reliability, Maintainability & Availability (RM&A) Engineer. This team, is responsible for a wide variety of RM&SH engineering tasks including Reliability and Maintainability Requirements Development and Flow-down, Reliability Modeling and Predictions, FMECAs, Health Management System Analysis, and Field Failure Evaluations. This position is located in Oklahoma City, OK.Responsibilities:? Applying reliability, maintainability and system health (RM&SH) techniques, theories, applicable company/industry? Developing RM&A program plans and strategies for implementing RM&A processes on supported programs? Applying Standards, processes and company polices to ensure that the product will perform their intended functions within acceptable limits.? Performing system design trade studies using life cycle cost modeling to determine design requirements and design of the product support system.? Reliability predictions, FMECA, maintenance task analyses, system/subsystem reliability /maintainability models, FRACAS, fault detection and isolation.? Testability analysis including fault detection, fault isolation and false alarms? Health management system designs support and development of prognostics requirements for life limited components.? Support the development of assigned program deliverables for RM&A, providing guidance on tools and best practices to members of a working group/team.? Collaborate with engineering teams on RM&A activities and communicate with program leaders, including SEIT Leads, chief engineers, system architects and program management.? Key interfaces on this team include program SEITs and IPTs, program management, and customer technical representatives. Join us, and you can build something better for yourself, for our customers and for the world. *This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.**Basic Qualifications*:?Bachelor's in Engineering or closely related discipline and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience.? 5 years of demonstrated Reliability & Maintainability experience*Preferred Qualifications:*?Experience with Microsoft Office applications?Experience with math modeling.? Experience with use of the PTC Windchill Quality Solutions Reliability/Maintainability/Availability software modules? Experience in performing piece part reliability predictions using MIL-HDBK-217 stress based methodologies? Experience with the use of Delmia V5 Process & Simulation Essentials for maintainability assessment? Experience with MIL-STD-1472 as applies to maintenance requirements (including compliance with Human Engineering Design Approach Document (HEDAD)).? Experience with math modeling (including reliability block diagrams (RBD), Weibull, and Lognormal) and statistical analyses and confidence limits for application to various test planning/results and field results.? Experience with application of MIL-STD-1798 Rev C into integrity plans and analyses? Experience with Service Life Extension Planning and Aging studies? Experience in the use of Maintenance data provided by the Air Force and other military branches? Experience with fault tree analyses? Experience in supporting conceptual and detailed design trade studies, with a focus on applying reliability, maintainability, availability & life cycle cost (LCC) analyses? Past experience as an Air Force or Navy Maintainer? Familiarity with Air Force and/or Navy maintenance practice and procedures? Past experience planning and executing Maintainability and Testability Analyses and Demonstrations? Experience with FMEA and FMECA, mechanical systems and electrical (including circuit level, LRU level, and Systems/Interface level)? Experience with Microsoft Office applications; demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Access and Excel to include linking between multiple spreadsheets, workbooks, and other external data sources for RM&T analyses.*Typical Education and Experience:*?Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.This position is located in the Oklahoma City, OK area and does not offer relocation assistance.
