AWACS Air Vehicle Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leader Company:
The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), Mobility
Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) has an exciting opportunity for
an Air Vehicle Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leader (Level M) to
join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, OK to supporting the
Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) portfolio. A unique
opportunity awaits to help develop and implement the IPT structure
for the AWACS portfolio. We are currently developing upgrade and
modifications for the USAF, NATO, Japan, and Saudi Arabia, in
addition to providing engineering support for the world-wide fleet.
The IPT leader will be responsible for delivering an integrated
product to the respective programs. It will require close
coordination with our engineering capability leaders and will
manage our control account managers (CAMs). The successful
candidate will be detailed oriented, biased towards action and
proactive in problem solving and coordination. International travel
may be required. Position Responsibilities: Manages employees and
mid-level managers performing business management activities in the
area of Program Management. Develops and executes integrated
organizational plans, and guides the development of business and
technical strategies, goals, objectives working with our
Engineering capabilities Manages and drives performance with the
Cost Account managers (CAMs) Acquires resources for organizational
activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads
process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and
partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and
direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical
approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates
employees and mid-level managers. This position is expected to be
100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite
at one of the listed location options. This position requires the
ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S.
Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S.
Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications
(Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or higher or
equivalent work experience 5 years of experience in Program
Management or IPT Leadership including cost, schedule and technical
management 3 years of experience building relationships with
customers, program offices, subcontractors, and product
organizations 1 year of experience managing EVM metrics. Ability to
work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Preferred
Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience in the
production, modification and/or conversion of airplanes Proficient
experience using project management tools & best practices
Experience developing & integrating strategic projects and
initiatives to meet business goals Experience leading team of
project managers Experience in a role that required organizational
skills with the capability to prioritize, facilitate and coordinate
multiple projects Experience collecting, interpreting data, and
managing projects from Executives or Senior Leadership Active
Secret clearance is preferred This position offers relocation based
