Systems has an opening for a Engineer - Materials and Process to
join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will
be located in Palmdale, CA or Oklahoma City, OK, or Whiteman Air
Force Base, Mo supporting the B2 Program The selected candidate
will be responsible for analyzing, researching, and developing
materials and their related application processes for use in
engineering design of and/or application in structures, systems and
subsystems. The candidate will apply principles of chemistry,
physics, and material science to investigate material issues and
provide solutions. The candidate will work in a team environment
with other engineering organization performing detailed technical
reviews of drawings, specifications and manufacturing plans. Basic
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications include a Bachelors in
Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 3
years of experience in Aerospace structural design and/or analysis
OR an MS degree in STEM with 0 years of related experience OR a PhD
in STEM with experience in Aerospace structural design and/or
analysis This position requires a DOD Secret Clearance to start and
the ability to obtain and maintain a Program Special access within
a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet
its business needs. Familiar with composite pre-pregs, honeycombs,
and adhesive materials; Fabrication, assembly, and repair processes
for aircraft composite structures, familiar with metallic materials
and processes Preferred Qualifications Experience with working on
military aircraft Experience preparing and presenting oral and
written reports Experience with material Obsolescence issues and
qualifying materials Experience with wire harness assembly,
termination, installation, and related processes. Primary Level
Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00 The above salary range represents a
general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of
factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of

insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off
