Job Description Qualifications:
The C-17 Avionics Communication/Display/Controller team is
currently looking for an Experienced or Senior Design and Analysis
Engineer to join their team in Oklahoma City, OK or San Antonio,
TX. This organization supports Boeing's C-17 Program, the world's
premier military airlift capability. You will be the team's focal
at the Oklahoma City or San Antonio sites.
We are looking for an experienced or senior Communications and RF
Design Engineer. This position will include support for the entire
product lifecycle; including requirements analysis, systems design,
lab design/specification, integration testing, flight test,
technical sub-contractor management, field support and customer
interactions. Will be responsible for requirement definition,
updating and verification using DOORS. Must possess knowledge of
modern military communication systems (e.g. SINCGARS, MUOS, IW,
Link-16, Mode 5). Experience with MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC-429 and
TCP/IP Ethernet data bus systems is needed. Will be a key focal for
teammates in Long Beach, support lab activities and tests. Must be
very strong with lab equipment operation, test design, lab set up
and data recoding/capture.
Position Responsibilities:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security
Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is
required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experienced - Level 3:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical
education from an accredited course of study in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)
and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET
accreditation is the preferred, although not required,
accreditation standard.
Senior - Level 4:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical
education from an accredited course of study in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)
and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work
experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred,
although not required, accreditation standard.
Relocation:
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary pay range (Experienced - Level 3): $89,250 - $129,950
Summary pay range (Senior - Level 4): $111,50 - $162,150
