Engineering Intern to join our growing team of diverse
professionals in Oklahoma City, OklahomaYou will become part of
Northrop Grumman's Lifecycle Sustainment and Modernization
Solutions (LSMS). LSMS provides sustainment support for the US Air
Force B-2 Bomber, E-3 Sentry, Airborne Warning and Control System,
and numerous other Government platforms. Our team members complete
engineering, reverse engineering, and logistics solution efforts to
solve complex obsolescence problems and ensure warfighter
supportability.Responsibilities:--- Review engineering designs and
drawingsReview inspection reports for accuracy, completeness, and
procedural adherenceAnalyze, interpret, and convert data into
format for engineering analysisHelp prepare inspection
documentation to identify test parameters and requirementsHelp
process change control documents and supports Material Review Board
dispositionsParticipate in R&D programs to improve system
capabilities and bring new ideas & technology into projects and
pursuitsCommunicate and interact with suppliers, component
designers, safety, tooling engineers, and management
personnelSupport activities as required such as proposal support,
process instruction revisions, new test development, interpretation
of customer technical specifications, and support of internal or
external meetingsBasic Qualifications:A candidate, regardless of
age and hiring source, must meet ALL the below criteria.The
candidate must:Be enrolled full-time and pursuing a STEM degree
from an accredited college/universityHave an overall cumulative GPA
of 3.0 of 4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be
provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your
application or profile)Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S.
Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a
pre-requisite)Involvement with Student Design Competitions (SAE
Mini Baja, SAE Formula, ASCE Concrete Canoe, etc.---)CAD proficient
(not experts, but at least one Semester CAD/Drafting with
Solidworks, NX, or similar)Preferred Qualifications:Have an overall
cumulative GPA of 3.7/4.0 or higher.Good presentation and
writing/communication skills.Self-motivated, willing to learn and
interested in working in a team environment.Be involved and
interested in STEM classes, extracurricular, clubs, etc.Prior
internship or research experience in related fieldProficient in
Microsoft office suiteAt Northrop Grumman, our internship pay rates
are standardized and take into account three main factors: the
anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of
the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered
technical or administrative.The pay ranges for this specific
opportunity are as follows:Undergraduate degrees (Including
graduating students planning on attending/enrolled in a full-time
Master's program): $19.50 - $ 25.00Masters degrees: $29.50 -
$31.25Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
