Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead our team of qualified
diverse individuals in the Subsystem Design group. In Vehicle
Engineering, we develop manned and unmanned aircraft platforms for
all programs in the Aeronautics Systems SectorThis position will be
located in Oklahoma City, OK and support the 9/80, 1st shiftWe are
looking for Engineers to develop "design for producibility"
solutions to difficult problems that are thorough, imaginative,
practical, and consistent with program objectives. In the
Subsystems Design group, we develop solutions to difficult problems
that are thorough, imaginative, practical, and consistent with
program objectives. In your day-to-day activities you will
participate in the development and review of completed models,
drawings, and repairs for accuracy, clarity, and completeness, in
order to provide evaluation of engineering products for conformity
to standards, procedures, and specifications. You will also lead a
team and supervise design solutions from initial concept to final
implementation and give concise presentations and explanations of
subsystem design issues/solutions to internal management and
customer representatives.Basic Qualifications:BS degree in
Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Electrical
Engineering and 9+ years of experience with a background in
subsystem design (Masters degree may count towards an additional 2
years of experience).Experience leading a group/team of
engineersHigh level of proficiency in a 3D CAD related software in
the development of aircraft parts and assemblies.Experience using
CATIA V5Working knowledge of one of the following subsystems:
electrical, hydraulics, fuels, fluids, mechanisms or propulsion
systems and/or experience with mechanical routing.Must have the
ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret or Top Secret
clearance.Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special
Access Program (SAP) clearance.Preferred Qualifications:Advanced
degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or
Electrical Engineering.Experience with Model Based Engineering
(MBE) or 3-D model engineering definition.Experience with HarnesSys
tool for schematic design.Experience in the design of bonded
composite primary and secondary aircraft structures.Experience
working on Special Access ProgramsExperience working on military
aircraftExperience with subsystem integrationSalary Range: $96,200
USD - $144,400 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary
bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to
reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share
in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director
positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition,
